Information for Parents

As a parent or family member of a student, your relationship may evolve when your student enters college, but you will likely still be a source of support or assistance for them. Consequently,  you may be one of the people that your student contacts if they receive an email about possible conduct allegations. Additionally, you could serve as the voice of reason, reminding your student that the conduct process is designed to hold other students accountable to the University's expectations. Here is some information that can assist you in  supporting your student through a conduct process.

 

We take our responsibilities as educators very seriously and strive to provide a fair and impartial system for all students. While we recognize that involvement in the conduct process can be challenging for students, we do our utmost to offer them the support needed to navigate the situations they encounter.
