University of Arkansas Police Department
Mission: The University of Arkansas Police Department, in partnership with the community we serve, is committed to protecting and serving the future of Arkansas and beyond by embracing the philosophy of community policing and by promoting a safe and secure environment through excellence, initiative, and integrity.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
The staff of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) works with members of the University to help solve problems, understand themselves, grow personally, develop more satisfying relationships with friends and family and help with other mental health issues. Services are provided by licensed psychologists, counselors, and social workers.
Department of Wellness and Health Promotion
The Department of Wellness and Health Promotion inspires, motivates and supports student self-exploration about personal health and wellness. The wellness staff consists of certified health education specialists and certified wellness and health coaches, graduate assistants, and undergraduate peer interns. Our staff is dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential across the holistic dimensions of health: the physical, mental, emotional, social, spiritual, environmental, and vocational. Of primary importance in our work with students is helping them become more adaptive, resilient, and self-responsible to more effectively address personal anxiety and stress.

The mission of the Safe Ride program is to provide students with a safe means of transportation from any uncomfortable or inconvenient situation. During operating hours, Safe Ride can pick you up at any location within the Fayetteville city limits and transport you to your residence as indicated on UAConnect.
