The objective of the Student Conduct process is to ensure a just approach to adjudicating conduct cases. The University of Arkansas serves as an educational institution, and its disciplinary procedures embody the values and standards of an academic system. This framework is distinct from the criminal court system. The emphasis is on guiding student behavior towards more suitable forms of expression. The Student Conduct System is thoroughly outlined in the Code of Student Life.

The Code of Student Life is applicable  to all continuing students at the University of Arkansas. All members of the UA community are expected to adhere to the Principles of the University.
